In June 2013, I made a commitment to give up my car and began a summer long experiment to make all trips on foot, bike or bus. My primary objective: to meet all physical, social and cultural needs within the historic city limits of Detroit (The Grand Boulevard). Over four months, I accomplished my goal while documenting my experiences and raising awareness of the joys and challenges of a non-motorized life in Detroit. Stay tuned for more summer 2014!
